Who are our Artisans?
Maria Victoria® is proud to work with artisans who are a part of social reform enterprises in Mexico learning how to make high-end textile goods, like our handbags. Because of the emphasis within Mexico on this type of vocational training, life skills and long-term rehabilitation within these programs, it greatly impacts the success for a second chance. We offer our artisans fair trade opportunities where they can be creative, work independently and have an improved quality of life. We have seenfirst hand that it gives them a strong sense of purpose, through a skill that is nurtured. With every purchase, you too contribute to the betterment of others and we are grateful for your support in these endeavors.
What is Fair Trade?
Trade in which fair prices are paid to our artisans. In other words, our artisans set the price and we pay it. We do not negotiate prices. We pay for all pieces, even if they are flawed and unable to be used.
How long does it take to make a Bag?
Between 2 and 6 hours depending on the style of the bag, taking the shortest time to make clutches, and the longest to make our extra large beach bags.
What are the bags made out of?
Recyclable PVC Plastic
What are some of the uses for them?
These bags are super versatile, great for the beach, travel, gym, school or every day use. They are super easy to clean, almost totally waterproof, foldable, longlasting and very sturdy
We typically process orders within 1 to 2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.
We offer USPS priority shipping and UPS shipping options, charges for your order will be calculated at checkout.
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification that will include your tracking number. Please allow 24-48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you do not receive your order within 10 business days of your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at Linsey.Ellender@SouthernHiveTX.com with your name and order number and we will look into it for you.
We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery. The item(s) must be unused, with tags, and in original condition.
To start a return you can contact us at Linsey.Ellender@SouthernHiveTX.com with your name, order number, and items to be returned. Once your return is accepted we will send you a return shipping labe. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and let you know when the refund is approved.
When approved you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Total amount refunded will be the total purchase price of item(s) being returned plus any applicable taxes (shipping costs will not be refunded). The cost of return shipping will also be deducted from the refund amount.
Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund, however if more than 10 business days have passed since we have approved your refund please contact us at Linsey.Ellender@SouthernHiveTX.com.
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately at Linsey.Ellender@SouthernHiveTX.com if any item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. Please include your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We will do our best to make these issues right.
The quickest way to ensure that you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted you can make a separate purchase for the new item.
